I belong to the group of people who are more comfortable in saying while ordering pizza in Domino’s : Bhaiya order le lijiye than to say I would like to place an order!
Again I prefer to say in restaurants: Bhaiya! Paani Lana! Instead of Excuse me! Can I have a glass of water please!
I belong to the class who is more comfortable in quoting Ramayana ,Geeta ,Tulsidas,Kalidas,JayShankar Prasad and Sumitra Nandan Pant than quoting Shakespeare, Keats,WordsWorth and.
I belong to the group which is still worried about the choice of medium (Hindi or English) for appearing in the Civil Services Examinations.
belong to the group of people who still get nervous when somebody asks on phone: Can I speak to Mr. and Miss….?
In India, exists a society which is suffering from ANGLOPHOBIA, and I am one among them.
In India, language has been a very important element in deciding personal careers as well as the political system but almost after 5 decades of Independence , India is witnessing a change.
In India ,English is not only a language.Unfortunately , over the years it has become a symbol of intellect, education, culture, upper class and development.Language is known to be the tool which design the culture of a country but here in India Language is misunderstood as culture.Had English only been a language in our Country, there would ‘t be so many Coaching Institutes for it.There are not speakers who speak English or Hindi but there are people who live life in a English style or Hindi Style and it divides a nation which is expected to act united.Acceptance of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India is certainly a milestone in Indian Politics .We have not JUST a LEADER WHO ADDRESSES IN HINDI BUT BHAIYON AUR BAHNO! WE HAVE OUR PRIME MINISTER WHO SPEAKS IN HINDI. .You can talk about your problems with your prime minister in Hindi and you don’t have to feel awkward(.He can communicate in English also so: English People! Don’t Worry!)Acceptance Of Narendra Modi can also be termed as a linguistic revolution. He has his own Desi Andaaz and he is very comfortable about it.He talks about economic development in hindi and people encourage him by saying Vande Matram and Har Har Mahadev. In an era, where job descriptions demand an excellent command over written and verbal English, a man who is not fluent in English, is not obsessed about English promises you job and you believe him and make him the prime minister. This is indeed what makes Narendra Modi different.( at least for us, the Anglophobic group). Acceptance of Narendra Modi also signifies that days have passed when people used to get impressed by suit, boot ,ties and hello,hi and How do you do} and time has come when people want to talk to their leader in their own language( let it be English, hindi, gujrati or Bengali). People of India certainly needed a leader with whom they could relate themselves and in Narendra Modi ,they have found themselves. Its not about supporting Modi blindly, it is about praising a man who speaks my language in my style. We are not obsessed with oxfordians any more. We want CHANAKYA from our own society. I agree Hindi is still not our national language and not all Indians can speak and understand Hindi but I would love to accept any other Indian language as my national language than choosing English and the Anglophobic society of India is definitely looking forward to get a job without fulfilling the criteria of a good command over written and verbal English under the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi .We are people who prefer Comedy Nights with Kapil Over Coffee with Karan. We Love Raveesh(NDTV) for his desi accent and Andaaz. We are RajniKanth’S fans.We Love our language and we love our andaaz banarasiya..and so we ,the Anglophobic people love Narendra Modi .
