Being Honest Vs. Being Practical !

Life is easy for those who are honest and easier for those who are practical.Now the most widely accepted anatonym for HONEST is PRACTICAL.When I was young,I used to think that corruption means politics.For me,it was very difficult to digest the fact that I was wrong and still I am learning to recognize the different faces of corruption which are unfortunately everywhere.Born in an Indian family who believes in Ram and the Concept of Ram Rajya,sometimes I feel that I am living in a world which was never known to me.When I was in school,I was told to be honest and now when I am in University I am told to be Practical which actually means not to be honest.Basically we are trained to be honest but we are expected to act practically(if being honest#is not equal to being practical) Well,World is for those who win,nobody gives a damn when you are successfull,How you succeded?never matters.But the terms honesty and corruption are being talked about so there is a possiblity that there is still some time when dishonesty would completly turn into practicality.Survival has become rather difficult in this practical world for impractical people (or Honest people).Those who are honest are foolish and those who are not are smart.So what do honest people(impractical people) do when they face a tough competition from there counterpart(practical people). When you go against the trend,you are in trouble but the truth is that the moment you choose to follow the right against the odds , you become the trend setter! Bad things,criticism and torture will soon follow you but they are temporary ,You can consider them as the outcome of the frustration and sleepless nights you have caused your enemies.What I have observed is that NEGATIVE CRITICISM IS ALWAYS A REACTION and reactions are never important.It is the product which world Uses.and in this case ,you are the one who is capable of making a good and positive product out of their reaction. Once I was told that I am useless.I spent nearly an hour to think over it. Then suddenly I realised that if I had been useless then why I chose to think over it.I chose to think about myself and that is a great qualitY and it helped me to understand that critics always want to see them as winner and they can do it only by shaking your confidence.You are not the winner if you are still fighting but once you give up YOU ARE CERTAINLY A LOOSER. For me,the most important thing is believing in myself.If you think you are right ,you don't need to be practical or dishonest or smart,all you need is determination , healthy food and good movies in your laptop. God has made this world for good and if you believe in good then you are on right track. It is difficult to follow honesty but honesty is the most practical thing in this world.People will scold you,oppose you but at the end of day,they want to be like you. After all,who does't want to die honest?
